Phi Sigma Sigma Sister Recognized by Clarion University

Congratulations to Ariel Weaver from our Gamma Gamma chapter at Clarion University for her recognition as a "Greek Leader of Distinction" from the Northeast Greek Leadership Association! She was recognized by Clarion University's President for her tremendous accomplishments. Here's some information from the university:

Clarion Greeks recognized for leadership in Northeast U.S.

Clarion University’s Greek community received several awards at the 2008 Northeast Greek Leadership Association Annual Conference in Hartford, Conn.

Ariel Weaver, immediate past Panhellenic Council Vice-President of Recruitment & Public Relations and a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, was one of 10 students in the Northeast recognized as a Greek Leader of Distinction. The Greek Leader of Distinction Award seeks to recognize outstanding students whom exemplify the ideals of sorority and/or fraternity membership in their daily lives.

Weaver, who received a degree in mass media arts, journalism, and communication studies in May, is a daughter of Susan Weaver of Greensburg and is a graduate of Hempfield High School.
