10 Days and Counting!

We are just 10 days away from the start of the Transplant Games! It is hard to say where the past 2 years since the the last Games have gone. It seems like just yesterday we all hit the road for Louisville, Kentucky with our dedicated group of 35 volunteers. Who would have expected that two years later we'd boast a volunteer corps of 95 MORE volunteers than in 2006?!?

Today some of the Foundation directors attended a Games webinar to learn more about what the 2008 Games will bring. The good folks at NKF have a number of new things planned in addition to staple events like the Opening Ceremony and Living Donor Recognition Ceremony. This year, we are heading to a Pittsburgh Pirates game for "Organ Donor Awareness Night at PNC Park." If you watch the Pirates take on the 'Cards (St. Louis Cardinals) on Friday, July 11th, you may just see some familiar Phi Sig faces in the stands!
